The following are some pictures of the build under a few coats of primer. This kit does not go together very well and as such, there were plenty of gaps to be filled, and new grid lines to be re-scribed. Lot's of sanding and lots of filling. I still need to reign in all the light leaks. One thing at a time though ;)
 

Here you can see just aboout most of the light leaks. The spring loaded secondary hull did not go together smoothly and as such I was left with some gaps were the halves were supposed to form gridlines. Theses needed to be filled and re-scribed.

Most of my time now will be utilized in filling and sanding, sanding and filling and testing for light leaks. Once I am satisfied that she is smooth as a baby's back side and there are no light leaks, I will finally be able to spray some perdy white. There will be another round of aztec expermiments before I shoot the actual pattern on the build. So stay tuned for some more updates....same Enterprise time, same Enterprise Channel ;)
